ELECTRONYSTAGMOGRAPHY

 

The Neuro Kinetics, Inc. I-PortalTM  is a 3D Video-Oculography System (VOG) to measure and analyze eye movement in three dimensions. The core of the system is the I-PortalTM 3D Eye Tracker. The premier system is a 120 Hz binocular, occluded/non-occluded system.  Lower cost systems are available at 30 Hz and 60 Hz. Coupling the Eye Tracker with a caloric, Pursuit Tracker and VESTTM VNG Software results in the top of the line Video-Nystagmography diagnostic system.

Components of the I-PortalTM

The state of the are electronics and software give the user maximum control over the diagnostic procedure and following assessment. The preset protocols allow the user to minimize the data acquisition time.

Goggles
Comfortable and light weight (170gm). Digital image acquisition allows for faster processing and better control. Torsional tracking makes I-PortalTM  an ideal tool for Dix-Hallpike testing.
Pursuit Tracker
Provides Single and Dual axis pursuit tracking for Horizontal, Vertical,  Sinusoidal, Trapezoidal, Spontaneous Nystagmus, Horizontal Gaze and Saccade Tests. As new test become available this unit can be upgraded.
Caloric
Water or air caloric irrigator delivers controlled temperature and flow rate of warm or cool water or air for canal simulation.
